The Boyz to return next month with new album
K-pop boy group The Boyz is making a rapid comeback with a new album next month.
The Boyz is releasing the EP “Phantasy Pt. 2 Sixth Sense,” which is the second part of its second LP “Phantasy” on Nov. 20, according to IST Entertainment.
The group’s second LP is a trilogy of which the first part, “Phantasy Pt. 1 Christmas In August” was released three months ago and has helped the group see remarkable growth.
The Boyz’ second full-length album, “Phantasy,” tells three different stories revolving around the topic of fantasy.
“Lip Gloss,” the title track of the group’s latest album, debuted on major local and foreign music charts and won awards on a local music show.
The group recently received a Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation award at the 14th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards.
The Boyz debuted under IST Entertainment in December 2017 with the EP "The First."
The group has since rolled out several hits, including "Giddy Up," "Bloom Bloom," The Stealer," "Thriller Ride," "Maverick" and "Roar" -- garnering a large global fandom in the process.
The Boyz plans to showcase unique conceptual music and performances for the upcoming album, which is expected to help the group expand its reach overseas.
The group will present diverse teaser content prior to the official release of the album for its fans.
